Lovely post Coleen! You have a great list of reasons you photograph. All internally motivated, to keep you going strong! We all need to nurture our need to be creative and to see beauty in the world around us. I look forward to seeing more from you as the course goes along!
Hi Coleen, Great to see each of your reasons to photograph with an example of a photograph. I can relate to many of your reasons. I especially enjoy finding interest in the mundane. Looking forward to seeing more pics through the course. maxine
hi coleen great photostory and well illustrated words :-() i am fascinated by the idea of uncovering the beauty in the ugly..... i think that is a hard thing to do but i remember some of my own attempts to photograph decay in an attractive way so i guess i kind of know what you mean.... thanks for sharing that insight
I'm a city-girl moved to suburbia, married, post-menopausal Sagittarian hockey mom, who is joyfully free range parenting two boys, aged 16 and 19, in New England, U.S.A.
I am an amateur photographer, recording the images of my world, and am more about capturing than creating.
